Chromebook "Grab & Go" Loaner Program

About Grab and Go Chromebooks
Middle Georgia Regional Library received 24 Chromebooks that are available to check out at six branches. The laptops were distributed to branches within the system that are in rural areas or lacks sufficient internet access.
"This program is partially assisted with funds from the Library Services and Technology Act through the Institute of Museum and Library Services."
Where are the Chromebooks available?
The Chromebooks are available to check out at Bloomfield Library, Riverside Library, Shurling Library, Crawford County Public Library, Marshallville Public Library, and Oglethorpe Public Library. Contact your local library for more information.
Who can checkout Chromebooks?
Patrons that have a library card in good standing, fill out an agreement at the branch and present a valid picture ID have access to Chromebooks. The Chromebooks should remain on library grounds and within range of the library’s WiFi.
Can I use the Chromebooks for school/work assignments?
The laptops are a great resource for anyone who is in need of computer access for work, school, or telemedicine appointments.
